Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) is questionable for Friday's road game against the Lakers, according to Kevin Chouinard of Hawks.com. Johnson is having a breakthrough season and has been able to play in 31 of the team's 34 games. He was sidelined on Wednesday in Denver for the Hawks'19-point loss but will hope to return as the team's trip to the West continues. In his 11 December games, the former Duke Blue Devil averaged 19.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.9 steals in 36.5 minutes per game. Since the Lakers will be on the second night of a back-to-back, it could be a good chance for the Hawks to get a big win in Los Angeles, and Johnson will be a strong play if he's able to return. If not, Garrison Mathews could get another start with more time for Vit Krejci, De'Andre Hunter, and David Roddy as well.--Zach Thompson
