Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey will miss at least most of the remainder of the regular season after sustaining a broken fibula in his left leg, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. The third-year guard was having an exceptional season alongside Cade Cunningham in the Pistons backcourt, averaging 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 29.9 minutes per game with a 26.6% usage rate. The former Boilermaker had only missed three games all season before Wednesday's injury, and in those games, Malik Beasley stepped into an expanded role while Cunningham's usage also rose. Ivey's injury will also open up playing time for Ausar Thompson, who is ramping up to a larger workload after a delayed start to the season.--Zach Thompson
