3 months agoVegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel tallied two helpers in their victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday evening. Eichel tallied his first point with the primary assist on Mark Stone's ninth goal of the season in the second period. Then, later in the third, Eichel would tack on the secondary assist on Tanner Pearson's empty-netter to put the game out of reach. The 28-year-old also added three shots on goal with a +2 rating in this contest. This game continued Jack Eichel's recent string of productive outings. Over his past nine games, the center has tallied 11 total points. During this stretch, he has only been held off the scoresheet twice and has posted four multi-point outings. Eichel remains a must-start player in all fantasy formats and a safe lineup anchor in DFS competitions.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoVegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel had a hand in four goals during Saturday's 6-3 victory over the Detroit Red Wings, scoring one goal and recording three assists. He notched a hat trick of helpers before icing the game with an empty-net goal, which gave Eichel his 600th career point. The American superstar also celebrated his new scoring record on Saturday night, as Eichel hit 86 points (22 goals, 64 assists) in his 68th game. It has been a tremendously successful year for Eichel, and it could become even more memorable if he reaches 100 points for the first time in his career. He will aim to take another step closer to it in Sunday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Eichel enters the game with 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) in his last 11 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 months agoVegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel (illness) is expected to rejoin the lineup on Tuesday against Nashville. The American star missed his first game of the season on Sunday versus Minnesota after feeling under the weather. William Karlsson operated as the first-line center in his absence. Eichel is on track for his first 100-point campaign, sporting 11 goals and 43 assists through 42 outings. He has been held off the score sheet just five times since December, and Eichel has kicked off 2025 by notching one goal and five assists in five games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

5 months agoVegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel registered a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-2 defeat to Carolina. He bagged an even-strength goal at the start of the third period and delivered a power-play assist in the final minute of play. This was Eichel's third consecutive multi-point effort. A haul of eight points in three games has pushed his season's tally to 24 points (five goals, 18 assists). Through 15 outings, Eichel has been kept off the score sheet only three times. Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon and Minnesota's Kirill Kaprizov are the only players with more points than Vegas' American star.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

6 months agoVegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel opened the 2024-25 NHL campaign with a playmaking clinic, finishing an 8-4 victory over Colorado with four assists. Eichel helped both of his linemates, Ivan Barbashev and Mike Stone, on the scoreboard in the first frame, contributed to a Zach Whitecloud goal in the second, and completed the damage with a power-play assist on Stone's second goal of the night in the third period. There had previously been only five occasions of a player notching four assists in the season opener since 2002-03. Eichel and Barbashev (two goals, two assists) established a new franchise record for most points scored in a season-opening game. It was a very productive start from Vegas' top line, and all three look set for a fruitful campaign if they don't run into any injuries.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
