Jack Drury Back For Hurricanes Saturday
3 months agoCarolina Hurricanes center Jack Drury (hand) will return to the lineup on Saturday against Minnesota. Drury hasn't played since breaking his thumb against San Jose on Dec. 10. The 24-year-old has made 28 appearances this season, recording three goals and nine assists. Drury lacks fantasy appeal but is a valuable asset for the Hurricanes. Playing on the fourth line, he occasionally contributes offensively and dominates in the faceoff circle. Drury has won a career-high 56.4 percent of his faceoffs in 2024-25. Juha Jaaska will exit the lineup on Saturday and has been reassigned to the minors.

Drury saw just 3:06 of action in Tuesday's matchup against San Jose. He's offered solid production in a limited role for the Hurricanes, registering nine points (three goals, six assists) in 28 games while averaging 13:08 of ice time. Tyson Jost has been summoned from the minors to fill in for Drury in the lineup. Jost's work on the offensive end has been limited to one goal in seven NHL appearances this season.
