Evgeni Malkin Sidelined With Upper-Body Injury
4 hours agoAccording to the team, Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin (upper body) did not play in Tuesday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Malkin was a late scratch to the lineup after he was not seen during warmups. However, he did participate in the morning skate. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status before their next game on Thursday evening against the Edmonton Oilers. On Tuesday night, Cody Glass was promoted to the second line center role. This was the first game Malkin missed this season. Through 41 games, the 38-year-old has scored eight goals with 24 helpers. He has been more productive lately, tallying five points over his past six games.
