McDavid's snap shot goal in the second period was the only goal of the evening as Stuart Skinner blanked the Kings. McDavid beat Los Angeles netminder Darcy Kuemper. McDavid also tallied five shots, two hits, and a block in this contest. This was McDavid's second goal over his past six games and his fifth total point over this stretch. Before this modest stretch, the 28-year-old was riding an impressive 12-game point streak. McDavid tallied 23 points (3 goals, 20 helpers) during this stretch, including eight total power-play assists.
