Winnipeg Jets defenseman Colin Miller (neck) will be out of action for at least two weeks. He suffered a fracture in his larynx when a puck hit Miller in the throat against Detroit on Saturday. Miller has tallied eight points (two goals, six assists) in 34 outings, with 46 hits and a plus-eight rating. Dylan Coghlan, who has gone scoreless in three appearances this season, will replace Miller on the third defensive pairing on Tuesday against Nashville. Coghlan should remain on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.

Jack Eichel Tallies Three Points in Season Opener
Vegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel factored in three goals during Tuesday's season-opening 5-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. He potted the game-winning goal and delivered two assists. Canucks Hope to Have Thatcher Demko Available By Christmas
Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (hip) will be out until December. "He won't be ready early on, but our goal is to get him back before Christmas," Canucks's co-president of hockey operations Henrik Sedin told the "Halford and Brough" show.
