Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar tallied two goals and an assist during their victory over the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon. Makar would score his first goal of the game in the afternoon on a snap shot. Later in the frame, Makar would strike again, but this time on the power-play. Then in the final minute, Makar would tally the primary assist on Artturi Lehkonen's game-winner. Makar also logged two blocked shots in this contest. Over his previous seven contests, the 26-year-old has tallied seven points (five goals, two helpers) with two of these points coming on the power-play. Overall, Makar has scored 18 goals with 38 assists across 51 games this season. He remains a must-start defenseman in all formats and top pick in DFS in any matchup.--Andy Smith
