Bryan Rust Exits With Lower-Body Injury
5 hours agoAccording to the team, Pittsburgh Penguins right wing Bryan Rust (lower body) sustained an injury during their loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday evening. Rust did not play during the entire third period. Earlier in the game, he tallied a primary assist on Michael Bunting's power-play goal. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status before their game on Saturday afternoon against the Seattle Kraken. Since the start of the month, Rust has tallied 11 points in 11 games with four goals and seven helpers. Overall, Rust has tallied 38 points in 32 contests and is just one goal away from reaching the 20-goal mark for the sixth straight season. If Rust were to miss time, Anthony Beauvillier would likely return to the top line and have streaming appeal playing alongside Rickard Rakell and Sidney Crosby.
