The Chicago Bears requested to interview Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores for their head-coaching position, according to a source. In addition to Flores, the Bears have reached out to Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson Giants OC Mike Kafka, Cardinals OC Drew Petzing and Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver. Chicago fired Matt Eberflus midway through the season after a 4-8 start and 14-32 record in two-plus seasons. Despite suing the NFL and multiple teams for discrimination, Flores is once again getting interest in a head-coaching position, with the New York Jets also interested. He went 24-25 in three seasons as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins and has been the defensive coordinator the last two years in Minnesota. Flores would bring an aggressive defensive style to the Jets if he were to be hired.--Keith Hernandez
