Alexander Wennberg Expected To Return To Action On Tuesday
San Jose Sharks center Alexander Wennberg (illness) is expected to be back in the lineup on Tuesday against Detroit. Wennberg missed Saturday's matchup against Minnesota due to an illness, but Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky said on Monday that Wennberg will travel to the game and should play in Tuesday's contest. Wennberg has slightly increased his productivity compared to last season, but he will likely still not break the 40-point barrier, which he has done twice in his career. Through 44 outings, the Swedish veteran has notched eight goals and 20 points. He usually works as the third-line center for San Jose.
