Alec Anderson Injures Calf In Wild-Card Win
6 mins agoBuffalo Bills offensive lineman Alec Anderson (calf) exited his team's 31-7 win over the Denver Broncos and did not return on Sunday. Buffalo ran out six or more offensive linemen on 22.2% of their offensive plays in the victory -- their third-highest rate of the season. Anderson was utilized heavily in those formations early on but would be forced from the game in the second quarter and would not reenter the contest. On the bright side, he was initially deemed questionable to return, and there has been no further news of the injury -- suggesting it may not be that severe. The 25-year-old started only four games in 2024 but was often deployed as the team's sixth lineman -- participating on 26.75% of the Bills' snaps. If he's unable to suit up next weekend, Sedrick Van Pran-Granger projects to fill that role against the visiting Baltimore Ravens.
