Aaron Glenn Meeting With Jets On Tuesday
10 mins agoDetroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn is visiting with the New York Jets about their head-coaching position on Tuesday, and the goal for the Jets is to keep him from leaving the building, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. No deal is done with Glenn, but if everything goes well on Tuesday, he could be signed as the Jets' next head coach by the end of the day. If it doesn't work out in New York, Glenn is a top candidate for the head-coach job with the New Orleans Saints as well. Glenn's visit with the Jets will be his second, but his first in-person meeting. Glenn has received interview requests from six of the seven teams with head-coaching openings, so he's been one of the hottest candidates out there this cycle. The Jets drafted Glenn in the first round, and he played in New York for eight of his 15 years in the league, being named to two Pro Bowls with the Jets.
