After an abysmal performance in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs that saw him throw no touchdowns and an interception, Philip Rivers bounced back in a big way against the Jacksonville Jaguars, throwing for 300 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions on 29-for-43 passing. Despite his sometimes inconsistent nature, Rivers remains one of the top quarterbacks in the league both in reality and in fantasy.
Derek Carr also had a solid game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, throwing for 330 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions on 24-for-37 passing. Carr has become one of the best young quarterbacks in the league, and the tandem of him and rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper will be a sight to see for years to come. Carr is already a low-end QB1 in fantasy.
On the other end of the spectrum, Drew Brees had his worst game of the season against the Houston Texans on Sunday, failing to throw a touchdown for the first time this season. Brees ended the game with 228 passing yards and one interception on 25-for-44 passing. It appears Brees and the Saints have fallen off a cliff as a team. Brees is still a QB1 in fantasy.
Nick Foles had an abysmal game in Week 12's matchup against the Bengals, throwing for 228 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions on 30-for-46 passing in a blowout loss in Cincinnati. Foles and the entire St. Louis offense looked inept the entire game, failing to get going against the Bengals' defense. Foles should have been on your fantasy bench prior to Sunday's matchup, but if he wasn't already, put him there.
