BALLER MOVE: Target late in deep leagues, Monitor on Waiver Wire (Current ADP: Undrafted, WR: 94)
ANALYSIS: Paul Richardson is a rookie most of us have not heard much about, probably because he is buried on the Seahawks depth chart under a group of mediocre fantasy wide receivers (excluding Percy). Richardson was recently drafted in the 2nd round of the 2014 draft at pick 45. Still a bit raw, Richardson has a ton of speed and talent for tracking down balls but has struggled a bit to pick up the offense in training camp. As the season progresses and Richardson becomes accumulated with the pros, he could run with any opportunity he is given.
Often compared to deep threats like Desean Jackson, Richardson is a player that will make teams pay with huge plays as we expect the Seahawks to take a few more chances down field this season with Wilson throwing more. Along with the durability concerns around Harvin and no other real weapon at wide receiver, the Seahawks could look to ease in Richardson throughout the season and could have him starting by midway through. Keep him monitored and make sure to pull that trigger before he has the game that puts him on the top of everyone's weekly waiver wire list.
