BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 1% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Miami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez is basically unowned, so get your hands on Lopez now, before it is too late. Lopez has allowed two earned runs, or less, in three of the last four appearances and struck out at least five batters in four of the past five starts.
Lopez will make two starts this week, both on the road, facing both the Braves and the Nationals. Atlanta is first on the docket for Lopez. They are 20th in team wOBA (.315) against right-handed pitchers this year, making this a better start than expected. Any starts for Marlins pitchers have to be taken with a grain of salt, as they are in a bad place to earn a win, but Lopez does not look like he will hurt too much in the way of ratios.
It is not wise to look at Lopez in more shallow leagues, but those in deeper leagues can take a look. Matchups against the Braves and Nationals, albeit on the road, are not as bad as you would think and he is a good addition in deeper leagues.
