BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 14% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Despite posting an .811 OPS in his first MLB season, Nick Williams opened his second MLB campaign in a right field platoon with Aaron Altherr. Early returns weren't encouraging as he struggled in the timeshare, hitting below .200 in April. However, as the season progressed, Williams seized the starting job and Altherr found himself banished to the minor leagues. Over the past nine weeks, the 24-year-old has slashed .297/.369/.497 with 10 home runs and 57 R+BI. He's vastly improved his plate approach, lopping double digits off his chase rate and drawing more walks than he did as a rookie while also making more (and better) contact on pitches in the zone. Fantasy owners have been slow to embrace him, though, and you can pick him up in six out of seven leagues right now.
