NASCAR Xfinity Series: DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for Martinsville Dead On Tools 250 (10/30/21)

The NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs head to Martinsville Speedway on Saturday.

The Round of 8 continues this weekend. Just two races remain in the Xfinity season, and just eight drivers are still alive in the championship battle.

Here at RotoBaller, we want to help you make informed decisions about your DFS lineups, which is why I'll be breaking down the slates for the Xfinity Series. Let's look at some NASCAR Xfinity DFS lineup picks for the Dead On Tools 250 on DraftKings. Josh Berry #31 ($10,800)

Starting 29th

Berry was the winner here in the spring and now he starts 29th. Seems like a slam dunk, right?

And well...it sorta is, but it's a slam dunk when you have a good shot blocker in the way. That shot blocker is the car he's in — in the win, Berry was in a JRM car. This week, he's in Jordan Anderson's 31 car.

And hey, it's a fine car. He won't win this race unless there's an untold level of chaos, but he can get this car into the top 10, with top-five upside. The ratio of place differential upside to cost could be better, but I'll still play a good bit of Berry.

AJ Allmendinger #16 ($9,500)

Starting 3rd

Lots of people will be heavy on Austin Cindric as a possible race winner, or on Ty Gibbs. Those two start on the front row and cost over $11k each.

That's why I like saving a little cash and pivoting down to Allmendinger. If this team hits on the setup, Allmendinger could have a great run here. He struggled to a 13th-place in the April race while Gibbs finished fourth and Cindric finished sixth, but I don't want to hold that against him too much.

Because Allmendinger has seven Cup Series top 10s here, more than he has at any other track. He has two top fives in Cup, and while one was in a Penske car that is obviously always expected to have that kind of speed, the other was a second place in a JTG-Daugherty car, something that is really hard to do.

Jeb Burton #10 ($8,600)

Starting 15th

Some nice place differential upside here for Burton, who starts 15th in a car that will have top 10 speed.

In two Xfinity starts here, Burton has a fourth and an 11th and has completed all 500 of his laps.

Good driver at a track that seems good for him in a car that has good speed?

Yeah, this is a good play. I'll be going heavy on Jeb in this race.

Preston Pardus #90 ($8,400)

Starting 38th

I'm really, really not sure what to think of Pardus this week.

He's run really well in his seven starts this season, but all of those starts came at road courses.

Martinsville is not a road course.

With that in mind, paying $8,400 for Pardus does feel a little rich, but when he starts 38th and when this 90 car finished 18th in the April race with George Gorham Jr. driving it, I think you have to take at least a couple chances on Pardus. He has to be better than someone named George Gorham Jr., right?

Jade Buford #48 ($6,400)

Starting 31st

Buford was 19th here in April. His average finish this year is 23.7. He's struggled at some of the other short tracks, but if the 48 car stays out of trouble, there's a lot of upside here for Buford, who has finished in the top 20 in two of the last four races.

He's risky though, as he's coming off of back-to-back DNFs. Still, he's worth a play in some GPP lineups.

Colin Garrett #26 ($6,100)

Starting 30th

The 26 car has been up and down all season, but in Garrett's four races in it, he has an average finish of 22.3.

In the April race here, the 26 was piloted by Brandon Gdovic, who drove the car to a 17th place finish. Can Garrett repeat that?

No idea!

But at $6,100, I'm good with taking the chance on it.
