ANALYSIS: While there's certainly no shortage of young, excited hitters in Colorado right now, it's instead the 35-year-old veteran Matt Kemp who has been seizing his playing opportunity the most so far this year. Through 10 games, Kemp was slashing .292/.393/.583 with two home runs, four walks and eight RBI. He's been the team's primary designated hitter and has been primarily hitting in the middle-third of the lineup. If his early season pace continues, that's unlikely to change.

While Kemp spent the past year bouncing around through a few different organizations, he's just a year and a half removed from a solid fantasy campaign. In 2018 with the Dodgers, Kemp hit .290 with 21 home runs and 85 RBI over 146 games.

Could a fresh start in the league's most hitter-friendly park be all he needs to regain fantasy relevance?

Apparently yes, so far. Kemp's first two home runs this year came in his second and third games at Coors Field. He only appeared in three of the team's first five road games, going 1-for-4 with two walks.

For daily-lock leagues of 12 teams or deeper, Kemp is someone worth targeting if you need outfield help. Try to ride him while he's hot, preferably while he's at Coors. In more shallow leagues, he can be left on waivers.
