BALLER MOVE: Add in 12- and 14-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 3% Fleaflicker
ANALYSIS: Unfortunately, running back Adrian Peterson owners saw their first-round pick hobbling off the field in Week 2, unable to put any weight on his leg. Peterson is now expected to miss 3-4 months recovering from on his torn meniscus.
Jerick McKinnon has been named Minnesota's starter, but if you are looking for a star to be born there, think again. When Peterson was suspended 15 games in 2014, McKinnon was given the lead role but was unable to take the reigns and dominate like we all thought he would. Additionally, Matt Asiata was the one who looked better, fantasy-wise, scoring nine touchdowns in Peterson's absence. He's a solid 230 lbs (compared to McKinnon-- 5'9'', 200 lbs), and is sure to get the bulk of the goal-line carries.
