ANALYSIS: This isn't the first time I've advised fantasy managers to pick up Logan Gilbert, but hopefully it's the last. Though he's close to exceeding the 50% cutoff, even just barely qualifying means he's not as widely rostered as he ought to be. One might have thought that his most recent outing - a win over the Yankees in which he twirled seven shutout innings and allowed only a double while striking out eight batters - would have gotten him over the hump, but alas.
Overall, the Mariners rookie owns a 3.51 ERA and 0.97 WHIP with 53 strikeouts in 48.2 innings and has allowed more than two runs just once in each of his last eight starts.
