The good news for fantasy football managers is that LeSean McCoy is set to suit up for the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, he's not a RB1 play, because he is not expected to take on a full workload in his first game back from battling the injury. The Cincinnati Bengals have been vulnerable to the run, however, and even a small workload could allow McCoy to put up big points.
Joe Buscaglia of WKBW Buffalo says that McCoy moved "around pretty well this week," and he expects McCoy to receive about 50% of the carries against the Bengals. With EJ Manuel set to start at quarterback and an already banged up backfield, the Bills will need “Shady” McCoy to step up and make the type of plays that they trade for.
The Bills' big offensive acquisition is averaging less than 50 rushing yards per game in the three games that he's played. He's also added seven catches for 83-yards and just one touchdown, which came on a reception.
At 3-2, the Bills are still in a strong position, but they face a formidable opponent in the undefeated Bengals. With Sammy Watkins returning from injury as well, the Bills have two of their most important weapons. Without the two stars, they managed just 209 yards of total offense last week, with 76 of those coming through runs by quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who is out this week with a knee injury.
