BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 27% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Lance Lynn kicked off his three-year deal with the Rangers on a (very) down note, allowing seven runs on 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings in his season debut against the Cubs. After an inconsistent performance in April, Lynn has seemed to pick things up in the month of May with a 3.67 ERA, 24.6% K% and three consecutive quality starts. Now two of those starts came against the struggling Royals and Mariners, but he also limited the Astros to just three runs over seven innings while striking out eight.
Lynn is in line to face the Mariners once again this week, and his next two starts look like they'll come against either the Royals or Orioles and then the Athletics. This looks like some prime fantasy matchups for Lynn, who has recorded at least eight strikeouts in three of his last five starts and all four of his potential upcoming opponents have averaged at least 8.5 strikeouts per game.
Owners should look to add him in 12-team leagues for his high potential value over the next two weeks, and he could end up being a valuable trade chip if he continues this hot streak.
