BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 21% of leagues
ANALYSIS: After Kolten Wong's torrid start predictably subsided, fantasy owners largely hopped off the train as quickly as they'd hopped onto it. While he's hitting just .234/.323/.373 overall, he also has six home runs and is a perfect 1o-for-1o on stolen base attempts. He has also hit safely in six of his last seven games, with three multi-hit efforts and three steals in that span. An admittedly microscopic sample, but perhaps a sign of the notoriously streaky Wong breaking out of his recent slump.
Even with the up-and-down nature of his season so far, the 28-year-old is pacing toward a 15 HR/25 SB season and appears to have job security at second base, which hasn't always been the case on a typically crowded Cardinals roster.
Owners in need of a stolen base threat who isn't a one-trick pony should consider Wong, if available.
