BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 9% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: In Week 9, Miami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage saw his highest snap total since Week 3. He logged 21 snaps in the game and carried the ball seven times for 19 yards. A disappointing output most definitely, but when you consider that the team's primary rusher, Mark Walton, gained just 29 yards on 12 carries, Ballage's line suddenly doesn't stand out as a red flag so much.
Ballage is the clear No. 2 right now with Kenyan Drake out of town. Walton is the better pass-catcher in the backfield, while Ballage is the better short-yardage and red zone back. Ballage has scored touchdowns in two of the team's past four games.
The Dolphins have one of the worst offenses in the league without question, but they've still managed to score two or more touchdowns in four straight games. Ballage is worth an add in leagues of 14 or more teams as he could be a potential flex start going forward given his potential to receive around 10 touches in a game with a chance to score. If the team decides to give Ballage more opportunities or if Walton gets hurt, Ballage could even end up as a low-end RB2 option in deep leagues.
