BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 43% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Jonathan Gray should only be added to your roster if you need strikeouts, as he is coming off of the DL and still has a start in Colorado this week. The ERA is rough (5.77 ERA) and he has allowed at least five earned runs in two of the past three games. He has allowed at least three earned runs in eight of the last nine appearances.
However, on the bright side, he delivers the punch outs. Gray has gathered at least seven strikeouts in four consecutive starts and at least five whiffs in 11 of the last 12 appearances. He will pitch in Arizona against the NL West leading Diamondbacks in his first start of Week 16 and will throw at home against the Astros to close the week Arizona is currently sixth in baseball with 862 strikeouts this season, helping fantasy owners with strikeouts. There is absolutely no reason to start Gray at home against the reigning World Champions.
