ANALYSIS: After a highly disappointing 2016 season in which Brown dealt with injuries related to his sickle-cell trait, he entered the 2017 season as a popular breakout candidate. However, he disappointed in the season opener with just four catches (10 targets) for 32 yards, and his injury woes resurfaced, causing him to miss Weeks 2 and 3.
The 27-year-old old now looks to be back to full health and has caught five passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns the last two weeks. He's become the clear No. 2 wideout behind Larry Fitzgerald. However, he may continue to be a bit boom or bust for fantasy owners, as he hasn't caught more than four passes in a single game this year.
As long as he's healthy, though, the player they call Smoke should be added in your league if his previous owner was impatient. Don't forget, he caught 65 passes for 1,003 yards and seven TDs back in 2015. Brown is the epitome of a high-risk, high-reward commodity, but the 5-foot-11, 179-pounder has game-changing speed and deep-ball prowess when he's right.
