BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-plus team leagues
OWNED IN: 1% of leagues
ANALYSIS: JJ Arcega-Whiteside was a popular name during training camp and the preseason, impressing coaches with his work ethic and production. But when the regular season began he became a forgotten name behind Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and Nelson Agholor.
Then Sunday night happened, when the Eagles became a walking MASH unit with injuries to Jeffery, Jackson and backup tight end Dallas Goedert. It forced Arcega-Whiteside (four targets, one catch for four yards) and Mack Hollins (eight targets, five catches for 50 yards) into three-wide sets with Nelson Agholor.
Jeffery's status for Weeks 3 and 4 are in question and D-Jax might be questionable for this Sunday against the Lions. That would leave plenty of targets for both the 22-year-old rookie and Hollins. Hollins saw more looks and did much more with them on Sunday night, but Arcega-Whiteside has the upside to make him more attractive in deeper leagues.
