ANALYSIS: Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin is a tough pitcher to evaluated. Sure, he will pitch a dud every once in awhile, but Chacin can be a reliable streamer, too. He has allowed two earned runs, or less, in four of the past five games.
Chacin's Week 15 value will come from the fact that he will face two weak offensive teams on the road, the Marlins and the Pirates. He has faced the Marlins once this season, striking out five batters in six scoreless innings, and is a safe bet for a win. Chacin has also faced the Pirates twice, allowing four earned runs and striking out six batters in 12 12 1/3 innings of work.
He will also avoid a start at home, the hitter friendly Miller Park, making Chacin a good streamer in deeper leagues. Considering that neither the Marlins nor the Pirates are particularly talented teams as well, Chacin appears to be a safe bet to win two games this week as well.
