ANALYSIS: Jae Crowder looks to be returning to his past form this season. While it’s only been two games, Crowder looks to be a key part of the Jazz’s rotation, as he has seen more than 28 minutes in each game. Through the first couple of games, Crowder is averaging 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals.

He’s also knocked down two three-pointers in each game thus far. Crowder has done an outstanding job of getting to the free-throw line early on this season, as has already taken 16 shots from the charity strike, knocking down 14 of them. While he doesn’t take a high volume of shots, he is still earning his points from the free-throw line. Crowder was a valuable fantasy option while a member of the Celtics and it seems as if he is returning to that level with the Jazz.

If he is given the playing time, Crowder could be a steal from the waivers due to his ability to generate steals (1.5 per 36min in his career), as well as his potent three-point shot that has seen him shoot 34.2% from beyond the arch throughout his career. Add Crowder if he is available in your league, as there aren’t many waiver players who can provide what he offers in multiple categories. Crowder is owned in just 40% of leagues, but that is a number that could be seeing a hefty uptick in the short future.
