BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 24% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: Seattle's has had the most unpredictable backfield in the NFL, and fantasy owners would be wise to stay away in shallower formats. Mike Davis seems to have taken over every down duties for the time being, but rookie Chris Carson is nearing a return which could further muddy the waters. Veterans Thomas Rawls and Eddie Lacy are still hanging around, although neither has had much success this year.
The last piece of the puzzle is J.D. McKissic, who took over as the pass-catching back after an injury to C.J. Prosise. McKissic is seldom used in the running game, but has carved out a small role in the passing game as the Seahawks have shifted to a more pass-heavy offense.
Last week against the Eagles McKissic only had one carry for a loss of one, but he was targeted three times in the passing game and hauled in a touchdown. McKissic had four or more receptions the three previous weeks, making him a nice threat to have in deeper (14+ team) PPR formats.
With the fantasy play-offs upon us, McKissic is probably not starting in many play-off lineups. However, he's worth having on the bench in deeper leagues as insurance.
