Introduction to Drew Deen's Premium NFL DFS Tiered Rankings & Betting Picks

Drew Deen introduces his tiered NFL DFS Rankings to help you win big in daily fantasy football GPP and cash games on DraftKings and FanDuel.

NFL Week 1 is rapidly approaching with the Thursday night game already wrapped up with a Chiefs 34-20 victory over the Texans.  Despite it being an extremely busy weekend for content, I wanted to take time to introduce myself and my content since everything I have done at RB has been behind the paywall.

I describe my path into the industry as a rarity.  Most writers come from a background of writing for free, building a social media presence by any means necessary, etc - respectable but much different than my story.  My path mainly comes from extensive time spent as a sports consumer, DFS player, season-long player, and sports betting.  It wasn't until a year and a half ago until I started providing content and occasionally posting on twitter (trying to work on this).  Most of this was done with a group of subs following my NFL DFS and sports bets on a membership platform called Patreon.  More on my background can be found here.

The majority of you that are familiar with me and my work most likely come from NASCAR DFS and co-hosting the GG Fantasy Sports Podcast.  A lot of people are immediately turned off by the idea of NASCAR, and I understand that because I used to be one of those people.  Most assume I was a NASCAR fan my entire life, but I actually only got into it because of DFS.  It has been an excellent season bringing my background of insights and winning DFS tournaments to the RB NASCAR team.  The success stories, screenshots from subs, Slack comments, and Twitter DM's have been flowing all year. With that being said, my first passions were NFL and NBA since I was a kid. I am extremely grateful to be selected to provide two primary pieces of the NFL DFS premium subscribers this year.  It is truly an honor considering how many talented writers and content providers that RB employs.

Premium - NFL DFS Tiered Rankings

Analyzing an entire NFL Sunday DFS slate with so many teams and so many players is a monster of a task.  Not only does it require a tremendous amount of time, but it also requires attention to the most tedious details.  My rankings provided a simplified view of all of this in an informative but easy to read manner.

While there is much more complexity to the rankings in NFL compared to NASCAR, my recommended approach is the same.  Consume as much high-quality RotoBaller DFS content as you can handle, and let this be the last stop when building DFS lineups.  Combine the rankings with the projected ownership tool and the lineup optimizer.  Hand building lineups is something I also do with the rankings and projected ownership.

Here, I will post a screenshot of what the rankings will look like.  Players are in tiers based on there DraftKings salaries and will be specified as cash game/50-50 playable and gpp/tournament specific.  I will also make a second pass at the rankings and bold plays based on further research and where I land on my personal lineups.  Lastly, I will provide brief commentary by position for any important call-outs that I find important.

Premium - NFL Betting

I need a more creative title, but sports betting is becoming more and more popular with legalization in place.  This article will provide my picks for the NFL season where I use a 1-5 unit system based on the confidence level of each bet.  If you are new to betting, do not worry.  I will be able to answer questions and more information will be in the article.  The results for last year were 64-54 (7-2 on 4&5U plays) for a total of +22.5 units on the season.

I hope you join me and the team over in premium this season.  Feel free to reach out to me on Twitter DM @ChefBoiRDeen with any questions.

And if you do purchase RotoBaller's Premium NFL or Betting subscription, make sure to use discount code GARAGE at checkout for 10% off any product, any time.
