Homestead NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages

Bubba Wallace - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the 4EVER 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday morning in preparation for the 4EVER 400 on Sunday afternoon.

The field was split into two groups for this practice session.

Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Time Difference - This weekend's practice session at Homestead started at 9:00 am Eastern time. The race on Sunday isn't going to start until around 2:45 pm Eastern time. That's just something to keep in mind if you are making bets or playing fantasy this week, as the track is going to be significantly different during the race than it was during practice.

Joey Logano - Near the end of practice, Joey Logano spun coming off of turn two and hit the inside wall hard. There was significant damage to his No. 22 Ford and he will have to race with the backup car. He will start from the rear of the field on Sunday.

Smoking Cars - Bob Pockrass reported that there were cars smoking after they got done with their practice session, notably Ryan Blaney and Chase Briscoe's Fords. There wasn't much made of this fact, more so just pointing it out, so it doesn't sound like a big deal.
