We have an 11-game slate Thursday, starting earlier than usual. Fortunately, there are quite a few streamable players, with 22 teams taking the field. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from Yahoo! leagues.

Hitter Streamers for 7/8 - Shallow Leagues
Joey Votto (1B, CIN) - 34% rostered
Matchup: @ RHP Adrian Houser
Votto might be getting up there in years, but the power is still more potent than ever. In 2021, we see Votto's max exit velocity, average exit velocity, and barrel rate at career highs. Another interesting tidbit, his hard-hit% is nearly 50%, which is 14 points higher than last season. The trade-off is a few more strikeouts and fewer walks. That'll undoubtedly play today since his matchup is against an SP that relies on balls in play for outs.
Cesar Hernandez (2B, CLE) - 20% rostered
Matchup: vs. LHP Danny Duffy
I don't think people realize quite how good Cesar Hernandez has been over the past two seasons. Specifically, against LHP, Hernandez touts a .200 ISO and .429 SLG%. Even if you strip it back to just 2021, he carries a .240 ISO and .458 SLG%. The 2B position is always a terrific spot to stream, and Hernandez against Duffy is the spot to target.
Didi Gregorius (SS, PHI) - 48% rostered
Matchup: @ RHP Adbert Alzolay
Since returning from the IL, Gregorious has been slumping a little(.158/.273/.526). However, this isn't terrible because, in all likelihood, it's caused his roster% to plummet, and he is available in over half of Yahoo leagues. First, this is a streamer that could stick for the rest of the season, so scoop him up if you can. Lastly, if you zoom out to Didi's last 380 plate appearances(two seasons), you'll notice a K% under 12% with a .340 wOBA. Also, let's hope the weather holds up for this game.
Eric Haase (c/OF, DET) - 35% rostered
Matchup: vs. LHP J.A. Happ
Available at catcher or OF? Now that's magical! And, speaking of magic, check out Hasse's power vs. LHP. It might be a small sample, but against LHP, Hasse touts a herculean .510 ISO and 1.240 OPS. However, I am somewhat cherry-picking stats because those do come with a 26% K-rate. Either way, he is a lock to bat in the middle of a Detroit lineup that is vastly improved as of recent.
Hitter Streamers for 7/8 - Deeper Leagues
Brendan Rodgers (2B/SS, COL) - 17% rostered
Matchup: @ RHP Jake Faria
Am I playing a Rockies' hitter outside of Coors Field? I sure am, especially against a very suspect SP like Jake Faria, who relies on balls in play for outs. While Rodgers has shown a bit more pop against LHP, his .264/.340/.395 slash line vs. RHP could translate to reaching base a few times. I like this move in deep OBP leagues or looking to bolster that batting average.
Garrett Cooper (1B/OF, MIA) - 10% rostered
Matchup: vs. LHP Julio Urias
Today is a very early start time against a challenging pitcher to take advantage. Maybe, just maybe, Cooper will catch Urias napping. Cooper's low roster% is likely due to being on the IL for a bit. That's good news because we can scoop him up, and he has been white-hot lately. Since his return, Cooper is 14-for-29 with a 10:10 K/BB ratio. Grab him asap!
Tony Kemp (2B/OF, OAK) - 7% rostered
Matchup: @ RHP Lance McCullers Jr.
I can't stop calling for Tony Kemp to be a streamer. He is incredibly useful due to the uber-high walk rate and sneaky pop as of late. Sure, he draws a stricter matchup against McCullers Jr., but he can sometimes lose command and walk batters at a high rate. Over Kemp's last two seasons, vs. RHP, he touts a .757 OPS and a walk rate north of 13%. Pick him up and plug him in the deepest of leagues.
Pitcher Streamers for 7/8 - Shallow Leagues
JT Brubaker (SP, PIT) - 29% rostered
Matchup: at NYM Taijuan Walker
Brubaker has gone six innings pitched in each of his last three appearances on the mound. In those previous few starts, he racked up 18 strikeouts and mitigated the free bases. However, Brubaker pounded the zone a little too much and paid the price by giving up HRs. His day will be successful if he can utilize his breaking balls effectively since both the curveball and slider have whiff rates over 30%. Additionally, he draws a pretty good matchup against the Mets. Over the last 30 days, against RHP, the Mets have a 26% K-rate with an 83 wRC+; not good.
