FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/9/17): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Bryan Horowitz - Flickr: Andrew Wiggins

Jason Bales highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 4/9/17, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster.

There are only four games to choose from tonight. The season is winding down, so a lot of the younger players are starting to see an increase in minutes. It is getting to the point where the salary cap no longer matters.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/9/17. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Let's get rolling.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Mike Conley - PG, vs DET ($8,100)

Fantasy owners are going to have to spend some money somewhere tonight, and Mike Conley is one of the better guard options to spend up on. He has over 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and it would be surprising to see the Detroit Pistons slow him down, especially since they are starting to give more minutes to the backups and younger players. Conley will take advantage of that. He is expected to play his normal 35 minutes, and if he does, he will outscore most other guard options, Russell Westbrook and James Harden being the exceptions. Both of those prior-mentioned guards are also great options, but most fantasy owners already know that.

Jamal Murray - PG, vs OKC ($4,300)

Jamal Murray just recently posted over 40 fantasy points in his last game, and he has the same kind of upside tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Russell Westbrook. Westbrook already broke the triple-double record, but that is not going to stop him from pushing in favor of offense. He will relax a little bit defensively. Murray is going to see around 30 minutes of court time because the Denver Nuggets have been dealing with injuries at the guard positions all season long. Roster him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Andrew Wiggins - SF, at LAL ($7,700)

Andrew Wiggins makes for a great option in tournaments tonight, but he is not worth consideration in cash games. He is far too inconsistent. For his price tag, his upside is worthwhile, however, especially against the Los Angeles Lakers. Against the Portland Trailblazers a few games back, he posted over 50 fantasy points. Wiggins does tend to post under 40 fantasy points on a nightly basis, though. This should be a fun, high-scoring game to enjoy.

Henry Ellenson - PF, at MEM ($3,500)

The Detroit Pistons are playing younger players to end the season, as they are out of the playoff hunt. Henry Ellenson gets a tough matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, but he is going to see around 25-30 minutes, which should be more than enough for him to hit value. In a limited sample size, he is averaging 0.78 fantasy points per minute on the court. Expect around 20 fantasy points with 30-40 fantasy point upside. His low price tag will make rostering players like Russell Westbrook and James Harden much easier.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Boban Marjanovic - C, at MEM ($3,600)

Boban Marjanovic is similar to Henry Ellenson, but he has been much more productive while on the court. In his last game, he posted 44 fantasy points in 28 minutes. He should see similar court time tonight, as Andre Drummond has been seeing less and less minutes. Marjanovic is averaging 1.33 fantasy points per minute on the court. The Memphis Grizzlies are tough defensively, but Marjanovic needs to be rostered in every single lineup. He is the best center option on the board by a long shot.
