FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/6/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

After last nights perfect lineup of games, we have the complete opposite. There are only two games with real playoff implications despite the 10 game lineup. Since the Pelicans need to win this game and the Suns can put up a ton of points, stack that game as best you can and then stack the Lakers-Timberwolves. I'll leave this reminder as well.

This part of the season is very, very tricky. Players will rest or not play for no reason and it's just how the NBA works. Whether you make a lineup right now or right before the games, do some individual research to cement the picks you want to make. Just be careful because there will be very late scratches that will ruin some lineups.

There are 10 games total tonight and you should already be gearing up to roster Anthony Davis and his hefty price tag. There is some value spread out, but this part of the season is a DFS minefield. There is no guarantee from any player at this point outside of the superstars on the teams that have games worth playing. With all this in mind, the superstars you need to consider are LeBron James, Victor Oladipo and Karl-Anthony Towns. Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/6/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jordan Clarkson - SG, at PHI ($4,200)

The Cavaliers are strolling into the playoffs and have been for some time now. The East playoff race isn't nearly as exciting as the West, but that won't change this game from having that playoff atmosphere. The 76ers defense is talented but Jordan Clarkson is a shifty guard that is difficult to run with. While his price is this low and the Cavaliers are missing guards you have to run with Clarkson. He will be one of the few backcourt players seeing heavier minutes and if you need more value, look at Cedi Osman who was picking up momentum near the end of last night's game and should have a quick start tonight.

D.J. Augustin - PG at CHA ($4,500)

D.J. Augustin had two consecutive games without scoring in double figures. His scoring has been inconsistent and you can almost tell when he will have one of his lower scoring games, but tonight against the Hornets, he will be able to get his share of attempts. The Hornets rank 14th against opposing point guards, but Augustin always causes problems, it just depends on the night. Since defense decided to take a break from the league for the rest of the season, Augustin and the Magic have nothing to lose to watch for the shots to be flying.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - SF at ORL ($3,500)

Sticking with what will unfortunately be the most unwatched game of the night, this is the game where non-shooting guards thrive. The Magic have a minimalistic defensive scheme and I wouldn't count on any of that revolving around limiting Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. For only the second time all season, Kidd-Gilchrist scored in double-digits four games in a row and he's been trending upwards as the season's progressed. The Magic rank 20th against opposing small forwards so Kidd-Gilchrist has rare upside tonight.

Maxi Kleber - PF at DET ($3,900)

Now that Maxi Kleber has been filling the stat sheet more consistently, you need to jump on his incredible value. The Pistons are one of the worst teams at defending opposing power forwards. Kleber is ultimately limited in his production, but he can hit shots and grab rebounds, which is all you really need out of him. The season is coming to a close and Kleber is getting full workloads on a nightly basis. I would ignore the last game he played because the 11 minutes outing is an outlier and isn't reflective of the near 30 minutes he had been getting the five game prior.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Deyonta Davis - C vs. SAC ($3,500)

Risky pick, but rostering any player from team that isn't fighting for playoffs or seeding will be just that. Deyonta Davis should be getting more stats and needs to be producing or he will be out of this league quicker than he got in. His skill set is limited to rebounding and dunking, so when he isn't doing either, he's borderline useless. The Kings front court isn't horrible, but it's just bad enough that if Davis receives most of the Grizzlies tank-supporting minutes, there's no reason he won't be able to produce. Just mind you that, not producing is Davis' calling card so mind the risk when taking this leap of faith from the O-zone layer.

Also Consider: Alex Len vs. NOP ($4,800)
