If you're still playing NBA DFS you know it's a day long investment trying to decipher what tanking teams will do with their rotations and resting stars. Now, we've gotten to the point where good teams like the Rockets have started to rest their studs, making slates that much more difficult.
That said, I'll be targeting teams that have something to play for as much as possible, even if the value doesn't appear to be excellent and then paying down to find punt plays on resting teams.
Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/27/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Quinn Cook- PG, vs. IND ($6,000)
Quinn Cook is the first of a few mispriced players at the guard positions, as he most recently returned 6.5X value at his current price point in a very tough matchup against the Jazz. Though Draymond Green will potentially return, he hasn’t stood in the way of Cook returning 5X value at Tuesday’s price point each of the five games since the avalanche of injuries hit the Warriors. The matchup against the Pacers doesn’t stand out, the game is unlikely to turn into a track meet, but it shouldn’t be enough to hold Cook back from hitting value yet again.
Eric Gordon- SG, vs. CHI ($5,600)
Gordon is another guard who remains underpriced given the news that James Harden and Clint Capela will rest Tuesday against the Bulls. The biggest potential downfall is a decrease in minutes due to a blowout, but that risk is minimized by Gordon’s price. His usage rate of 24.8% when both Clint Capela and James Harden are off the court should give him plenty of opportunity to rack up FD points in short spurts. More importantly, Gordon payed 32 and 28 minutes in the Rockets past two games in comfortable victories, so we should still see him get high 20s minutes even if (when) the game isn’t competitive.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo- SF, @ LAC ($11,200)
It’s been a pretty safe strategy to target wings against the Clippers this season, and it’s a lock when the like of LeBron James or Giannis match up against them. Prior to injuring his ankle against the Clippers six days ago, Giannis had scored nearly 1.6 FD points per minute in 16 minutes of action. Health shouldn’t be a concern as he played 37 minutes in his return from injury against the Spurs, so we should see Giannis put up a big game Tuesday night. He’s a building block for me tonight.
Kevin Love- PF, @MIA ($8,100)
Love hasn’t taken a long time to get back to his old form after returning from a broken hand. As a result, the discount in his price tag is long gone. He’s still a nice cash play as one of the safer PF plays on the slate, as Miami’s defense against opposing bigs has really suffered in the absence of Hassan Whiteside. For example, they have given up an average of 38.1 FD points to the PF position over the course of the season, but that number has risen to 49.4 and 50.3 over their past five and 10 games respectively. Similarly, opposing centers have a season long average of 30.6 FD points when playing the Heat, but have averaged 44.1 and 40.8 FD points over the past five and 10 games respectively. That makes Love a decent cash game play, but there doesn’t appear to be a ton of upside for GPP contests.
Also Consider: Tarik Black- PF, vs. CHI ($3,500)
FanDuel DFS Centers
Jusuf Nurkic- C, @ NO ($6,900)
The center position is largely a disaster, as has been the case of late. Nene is a potential punt option thanks to the absence of Clint Capela, but he’s not exactly a safe play. If you’re looking to pay up, Nurkic is one of the better options-- albeit a volatile one. He’s gotten to at least 40 FD points at a 50% clip over his past eight games, including a few 50 point performances. On the other hand, he’s put up a few 20 points games in that span. The matchup isn’t great, but Nurkic is the best priced option unless you want to roll the dice on a punt play. The only exception to that is if Draymond Green is ruled out, in which case I will gladly pay down $300 for Myles Turner against a depleted Warriors team.
