FanDuel, DraftKings NHL DFS Lineup Picks (3/30/19): Daily Fantasy Hockey

Tom Vecchio's top NHL DFS lineup picks on FanDuel, DraftKings for 3/30/19. Expert daily fantasy hockey advice, sleepers & player recommendations.

We have a 10-game slate tonight with a few lopsided favorites, along with some games with over-under set at six or higher. There should be plenty of scoring to go around tonight and plenty of options for both cash games or GPPs.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/30/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider

John Tavares - C, TOR @ OTT (FD - $8,400, DK - $8,100)

The Maple Leafs come in as -215 road favorites since they are up against the Senators, who are simply terrible this season, which should put us in for plenty of fantasy points. First off, we have an over-under is set at seven, which is super high, since the Senators are rolling out an AHL squad on the ice, while the Maple Leafs forgot how to play defense in the last month of the season. Ottawa comes in with a 65 Corsi Against this season, which is dead last in the league, meaning they are allowing an insane amount of shot attempts per game, which give the Maple Leafs a fantastic floor of points to lock in.

Tomas Tatar - W, MON @ WPG (FD - $6,300, DK - $5,200)

Tatar and the Canadiens need to be winning games and picking up points since they are tied for the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. Tonight, they are facing off against the Jets, who have slipped to the bottom 10 when it comes to Corsi Against and has allowed five goals in three of their last four games. Tatar comes in with six points and nine shots in his last five games which is great production for his price on DraftKings tonight. Love the stacking potential for this Canadiens tonight and shouldn't be too highly owned with a 10-game slate.

DFS Defenders to Consider

Ryan Pulock - D, NYI vs BUF (FD - $4,600, DK - $4,700)

Pulock has a great price on both sites tonight and comes in with amazing consistency over his last few games, which should make him viable in all formats. In his last five games, he has three points, 15 shots, and 11 blocked shots. He almost seems a bit too cheap considering that level of production which brings a solid floor of points you want for cash games and with him on the second power-play unit, he has a bit of upside for tournaments.

Mikhail Sergachev - D, TB vs WAS (FD - $4,000, DK - $3,300)

Sergachev is now on the top defensive pairing for the Lightning and still on the second power-play unit, which gives him tremendous upside due to their powerful offense. They are up against the Capitals tonight which is going to be an amazing game to watch and should be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals. He is very cheap on DraftKings

DFS Goalies to Consider

Jake Allen - G, STL @ NJ (FD - $7,800, DK - $7,600)

Allen has a very reasonable price tag tonight considering the fact they are -205 road favorites against the Devils and are both on the second night of back to back. Binnington started last night for the Blues, so it should almost certainly be Allen tonight. Allen only has one win his last four starts but has allowed three or fewer goals in each of those games. He should be fine for either format tonight considering his price tag and the cheap matchup.
