FanDuel, DraftKings NHL DFS Lineup Picks (2/6/18): Daily Fantasy Hockey Advice

Tom Vecchio's top NHL DFS lineup picks on FanDuel, DraftKings for 2/6/18. Expert daily fantasy hockey advice, sleepers & player recommendations.

We have a MASSIVE 11 game slate tonight, and there are good options on the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters where you can afford them.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 2/6/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider

Taylor Hall - W, NJ @ OTT (DK - $7,400, FD - $8,100)

Hall has been super consistent of late, and is now up against the Senators, who are one of the worst teams in the league, giving up over three goals per game. This is a prime spot for him, and I like him for cash or GPPs, solo or in a stack. What I'm trying to say is that he is a fantastic play tonight. He has points in 10 straight games dating back to before the All-Star break, so let's ride the hot hand to the cash. He is on the first forward line and the first power-play unit, so if you choose to stack him up, look there for some other options.

Blake Wheeler - C, WPG vs ARI (DK - $7,400, FD - $7,100)

Wheeler is up against the Coyotes, who are giving up over three goals per game, so you want to stack against them anytime they are on the slate. Wheeler is on the first forward line and the first power-play unit, so plenty of ice time for him to rack up points. He has 58 points in 53 games this season, and is taking about three shots per game. He can also chip in with a blocked shot every now and then, so plenty of ways for him to fill up the stat sheet. The Jets stack will be super expensive, but they have tons of multi-point potential tonight.

DFS Defenders to Consider

Keith Yandle - D, FLA vs VAN (DK - $5,200, FD - $5,400)

Yandle is on the first power-play unit, along with the first defensive pairing for the Panthers, and is in a great spot tonight. Seemingly every time there is a big slate, the Florida Panthers are super lowed owned. Love Yandle in a stack tonight, and they really aren't that expensive, even if you go for the max players. He is taking over two shots per game, blocking about one shot per game, and has six points over his last three games.

Seth Jones - D, CLS vs WAS (DK - $6,000, FD - $5,900)

Jones is set to see a ton of ice time tonight as he does every night. He will always be out there to counter the opposing team's top line, and tonight will be a tall order against Ovechkin and the Capitals. He is on the first defensive pairing and the first power-play unit, which also gives him some nice offensive upside. He is taking over three shots per game, and is blocking over one shot per game.

DFS Goalies to Consider

Marc-Andre Fleury - VGK @ PIT (DK - $7,600, FD - $8,700)

If you like a good DFS story line, then this is the spot for you. Fleury is up against his former team the Penguins tonight, and we should be in for a bit of an emotional opening. He was their long time goalie, and was taken by Vegas this offseason. This is tough spot for him, since the Penguins are getting hot right now, and scoring over three goals per game. Great stroll down narrative street here, but GPP only since there is risk going up against the Penguins' offense.
