FanDuel, DraftKings NHL DFS Lineup Picks (11/13/18): Daily Fantasy Hockey

We have a nine-game slate to look at tonight and we are starting to get a few games into the season, so we should be able to start looking at some more stats soon. Personally, I like Corsi For, which is an advanced shot metric shot which can help identify offensive opportunity.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/13/18. DFS Forwards to Consider

Taylor Hall - W, NJ vs PIT (FD - $7,500, DK - $6,500)

Hall hasn't scored a point in his last two games, which oddly enough, is long for him this season. Yes, this is the longest he has gone without a point in this young season and now being up against the Penguins who are struggling right now, he is in a spot to get back on the board. He comes in with a Corsi For sitting at 15.09, which is the fifth highest for any winger on the slate tonight. Love that he is on the first power-play and the first forward line which should give him plenty of ice to rack up points.

Dylan Larkin - C, DET vs ARI (FD - $6,300, DK - $6,100)

I'm not a big fan of rostering the Red Wings this season since they are just so bad, but this is actually a good spot for them, but only in GPPs. Larkin and the Wings are at home and up against the Coyotes, who are giving up nearly 49 shots attempts per game. While those don't directly lead to points, it brings upside for a player and a team who will be among the lower owned ones on the slate. He has points in six of his last seven games and is GPP option only tonight.

DFS Defenders to Consider 

Oscar Klefbom - D, EDM vs MON (FD - $4,800, DK - $5,000)

Klefbom is simply too cheap for the role that he has and gets you exposure to Connor McDavid in the process. He is up on the first power-play unit for the Oilers, who are at home and find themselves in a game where the over-under is set at six. Klefbom is averaging nearly three shots per game and one blocked shot per game, which gives him a solid floor of points for cash games. The exposure to the power-play gives him the upside for tournaments.

Keith Yandle - D, FLA @ PHI (FD - $5,600, DK - $6,300)

Yandle is good for any format tonight since he comes in averaging nearly three shots per game and one blocked shot per game. He also has a seven-game point streak in the works, simply getting it done in all aspects for fantasy hockey. Love the consistency from him and now going up against the Flyers, who are giving up 44 shots per game.

DFS Goalies to Consider

Thomas Greiss - G, NYI vs VAN (FD - $7,800, DK - $8,000)

Oddly enough, I think Greiss is close to being a cash game option on tonight's slate. He is at home and a -170 favorite against the Canucks, who are on the second night of a back to back. He has posted 29 saves or more in four of his last five starts and with the way the Islanders play defense, he will be in a spot to not only get saves, but also pick up the win.
