FanDuel DFS - MLB Lineup Picks, Sleepers & Advice for 4/14/15

It's a thirteen game slate today. With every game scheduled for 7:05 eastern time or later, there are more than enough lineup combinations available to fit your fancy.

Editor’s Note: RotoBaller’s Premium DFS Lineup Picks & Tools help you get an edge for your FanDuel lineups with exclusive access to DFS tools and expert lineup picks. Also our DFS batters vs. pitchers tool helps you analyze today’s matchups and make optimal lineup decisions.

Stacking Offenses to Target for FanDuel DFS

New York Mets

The Mets aren't exactly an offensive juggernaut, but I do like the matchup they have in front of them today against Phillies right-hander David Buchanan. Buchanan just so happens to have allowed a .364 wOBA against right-handed hitters for his career, a span of 21 starts at the MLB level dating back to last May. I particularly like David Wright($3,800) in this one, as well as Lucas Duda ($3,600). Yes, I know Duda hits from the left side, but he draws most of his power against righties, and should be hitting 3rd. If he's leading off, I like Curtis Granderson ($2,900), too, as a high upside guy in tournaments.

Miami Marlins

This is my favorite one of the day, as several hitters on this Miami club have strong numbers against Braves starter Trevor Cahill. They also get into a more friendly hitters park (Turner Field) and will bat nine times. Oh, and lefties own Cahill - can't forget that detail - as they hit .338 with a .407 OBP in 2014. I'm targeting Dee Gordon ($4,000), Ichiro Suzuki ($2,200), who is a steal at that price point, espcially if he moves up in the order, Christian Yelich ($3,600) and Giancarlo Stanton ($4,700).

DFS Catchers To Consider for FanDuel

Brian McCann - C - Yankees ($3,400)

McCann got a day off yesterday, and he's due for a big game. I expect the Yankees to get after Orioles' starter Miguel Gonzalez, so don't be surprised to see McCann at the plate with a few ducks on the pond.

Buster Posey - C - Giants ($4,400)

He sure is expensive, but Posey has a chance to feast against Rockies starter Christian Bergman, who has a career ERA north of 5.5.

DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel

Adrian Gonzalez - 1B - Dodgers ($5,000)

If you're willing to pay big bucks, might as well go with one of the hottest hitters in the game. Gonzalez also has the coveted  lefty-righty matchup against Mariners starter Hisashi Iwakuma.

Carlos Santana - 1B - Indians ($3,600)

Santana has an impressive slash line against left-handed pitching - .285/.395/.469 and he comes at a much more affordable price than the majority of the first basemen on the board today.

Dee Gordon - 2B - Marlins ($4,000)

Gordon is off to a roaring start in 2015, and he's also stolen four bases already. In 15 career at-bats against Trevor Cahill, he has six hits - two of which went for extra bases.

Howie Kendrick - 2B - Angels ($3,100)

Kendrick is a bargain at $3,100, especially when you consider he has a lifetime .375 average against Iwakuma in 24 at-bats. Additionally, I think the Angels hit Iwakuma early and often, so the RBI and run scoring chances should be there.

Stephen Drew - 2B - Yankees ($2,500)

Sometimes, it just makes sense to ride a guy when he's swinging a hot bat.

Troy Tulowitzki - SS - Rockies ($5,000)

Far and away the best hitting shortstop in the game. The price is ugly, but if you can afford him, it's silly not to insert him into your lineup.

Alexei Ramirez - SS - White Sox ($3,000)

Somewhat of a bargain for the South Siders shortstop. He's a noted fastball hitter, facing off against a fastball pitcher.

David Freese - 3B - Angels ($2,900)

What I really like about Freese is his price point. The fact he's swinging it well lately and Vegas has pegged this one as a high scoring game (Over/Under 9), certainly is convincing, too.

Alex Rodriguez - 3B - Yankees ($3,200)

I like his home run and RBI potential today, and he is reasonably priced. Definitely worth the upside in tournament formats.

DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel

Melky Cabrera - OF - White Sox ($2,700)

Low price for a guy who is generally slotted high in the order and has five hits in 10 at-bats against Carlos Carrasco, including a home run.

Adam Jones - OF - Orioles ($4,700)

Jones is one of the hottest hitters in the game right (not to mention, for the last few seasons, too) and though his price point reflects that, he does have a pretty favorable matchup against CC Sabathia.

Anthony Gose - OF - Tigers ($3,400)

Gose has been knocking the ball around, always has stolen base potential, and I expect a few runs scored today as the Tigers offense as a whole rebounds from their first loss yesterday.

Giancarlo Stanton - OF - Marlins

Stanton is due for a couple deep flies. He and the Marlins have quite the favorable matchup against Trevor Cahill at Turner Field.

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel

Matt Harvey - P - Mets ($9,900)

The price is pretty damn steep, but you just can't sleep on Harvey today. Huge strikeout potential, and I think the Mets provide enough offense today to put him in line for a win. Do it.

Daniel Norris - P - Blue Jays (6,600)

A bit surprised he's priced so low considering he's at home and faces a Rays lineup that just isn't very strong. I think he should produce 4+ strikeouts and has a great chance to grab a win.
