EPL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (9/13/21) - English Premier League Soccer

Vince's FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 9/13/21. His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We had a little bit of an odd schedule of games here this weekend. There were eight games Saturday, one Sunday, and that leaves us with a single-game slate for Monday. I will be breaking down that game in full for you here. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Monday's slate.

The very large majority of my DFS content will be EPL or UCL-related, however, there is more soccer than just what is being played in England. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts! There was some great conversation over the four UCL slates we had this week, and the Premium Slack chat is as full as ever!

In this article, I will be providing you with my English Premier League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/13/21 for the slate that locks at 3:00 pm ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Everton vs Burnley

Everton (-150) has jumped out of the gate nicely this year with two wins and a draw. Burnley, however, has not done well at all as they are without a win after three games. Everton are a solid favorite at home in this game and should come away with a win. Burnley has not been very good for the fantasy game over the last year or so, and it's going to be tough to recommend exposure to them outside of what is necessary. Focus on getting your Everton pieces and let the rest fill itself in. The goal total over/under is 2, 2.5.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

Everton forward - Dominic Calvert-Lewin ($15) - spent the international break trying to work through some minor injuries and seems to have done so successfully. He should be back out there for Everton Monday. DCL has scored in all three of Everton's games so far this year, and he has +110 goal odds today which are the best in the game. To add some more fuel to playing him as your captain, Calvert-Lewin also has a good track record against Burnley having scored against them in both meetings last season.

Richarlison ($14) is struggling a bit with his form after scoring in Everton's opening game. I favor Demarai Gray ($12) as my second Everton attacker for $2 in savings. He has scored in two straight games and is getting similar peripherals to Richarlison. He should also be lower owned than Richarlison which makes him more enticing.

There's always some interest in attackers taking on Everton's leaky defense, but with Burnley on the road, I'll limit my exposure. Chris Wood ($13) is the best goal scorer on the team right now with Ashley Barnes ($11) completely out of form. Wood is +250 to score which is third-highest on the slate, but you'll have to pay quite a bit to get him. I prefer Ashley Westwood ($8) in this matchup for the price if choosing a Burnley attacker. He has a safer floor - and in a game where goals won't come easy - that is valuable to me.

Andros Townsend ($7) is another one of my favorite value attackers on this slate. He's always a threat to provide an assist and put up a 20-point game at a cheap price. Allan ($10) has come out of nowhere as a fantasy player under Rafa Benitez after being completely irrelevant for the last couple of seasons. All of his games this year have been double-digit performances, and he's showing some new attacking upside. If you're stacking four Everton attackers at home, he makes sense to be in there.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

What to do with Lucas Digne ($8)? I say play him today. He has not been in the greatest form to begin the season, but his price is down a little as a result. I generally only recommend Digne at home, and he does have a plus matchup at home on this slate. He has the most attacking upside out of any of the defenders on the slate and fits with a 4/1 Everton stack if you roll with Wood or Westwood as your Burnley attacker.

Michael Keane ($9) is already racking up defensive peripherals this season with three consecutive 14+ point games. He also has a good matchup to put up another 20+ point game against Burnley who allow a good amount of defensive action. A clean sheet bonus is also in play here for Everton defenders with Burnley's firepower-less attacking unit.

Charlie Taylor ($5) is in play as a value defender on this slate. He has two straight double-digit games and still remains $1 above the minimum price. The matchup is not great as Everton doesn't allow much defensive action, but his price tag alone makes him viable.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
