EPL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (12/2/21) - English Premier League Soccer

Vince's FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 12/2/21. His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Our three days of Matchday 14 come to a close Thursday with our last two games until this weekend. It is just a small two-gamer but there will be no shortage of big names with three of the Big 6 clubs in action Thursday. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Thursday's slate.

The very large majority of my DFS content will be EPL-related, however, there is more soccer than just what is being played in England. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts!

In this article, I will be providing you with my English Premier League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/2/21 for the slate that locks at 2:30 pm ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Tottenham vs Brentford

Tottenham (-155) got a much-needed win last time out against Leeds 2-1. They are the biggest favorites on the slate at home. They face a Brentford team that had been sliding down the table prior to their 1-0 win over Everton last weekend. Overall, they still have not really been playing well and are in for a tough time on the road against Tottenham in this game. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

Manchester United vs Arsenal

Arsenal continues to hang with the top four. They have a massive matchup Thursday against Manchester United (+105) who are favored at home in this game despite not being in good form. They have won just one of their last eight league games and are amid a coaching change right now. The goal total over/under is 2.5, 3.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

It's about time Harry Kane ($19) breaks his scoring drought and finds the back of the net. He's the most likely anytime goal scorer on this slate at -110 and faces a Brentford defense that has been leaky over the last month or so. Before their shutout against Everton, they had allowed 10 goals in their previous four EPL games. Kane was more involved and had more opportunities in front of the net in Tottenham's last game against Leeds. At home, I'm calling a Kane goal on this slate. Lucas Moura ($16) has been playing well for Tottenham recently and is a nice way to get a second Tottenham attacker in this matchup.

Arsenal's defense has been decent this year at minimizing the number of goals they're conceding. However, they haven't been quite as good at limited SOGs and chances created for opposing teams. I like that for Cristiano Ronaldo's ($21) floor in this game. I also think he has a solid chance at breaking his goal-scoring drought with Kane. He's +110 to score against Arsenal, and I think he does. Pairing Kane and Ronaldo is something you might not get to do often if they start producing, so take advantage of some cheaper price tags on this small slate and get both in. Bruno Fernandes ($19) is another way to get some Manchester United attacking exposure without having to pay for Ronaldo.

There is definitely some substantial injury news to be aware of especially in the mid-tier of this group of attackers. Bryan Mbeumo ($16) is a solid contrarian goal pick. He has hit the post four times this year - a league high - and Tottenham's defense has not been as strong at home as they were last year.

Albert Sambi Lokonga ($10) is my value attacker of the day. He should be able to collect enough defensive peripheral stats to be worth this price against a Manchester United squad that allows a lot of tackles and interceptions.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

This is an ugly slate as far as defenders go. From an attacking upside standpoint, I have some interest in Sergio Reguilon ($13) in this nice matchup. Tottenham should control the majority of the ball possession giving him plenty of opportunities to get involved. The bummer here is that Brentford does not allow many defensive stats which hurts his floor.

Manchester United allow a lot of tackles and interceptions. I'll take some Takehiro Tomiyasu ($12) with that in mind, plus he has had some increased attacking upside recently. Kieran Tierney ($8) is a nice value play for the price.

Ben Davies ($7) also interests me as a value play on this slate. Brentford don't allow much as far as defensive stats like I mentioned, but he's so cheap and has a nice chance at a clean sheet bonus.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Hugo Lloris ($13) looks like the best GK if you're looking for someone who has a good shot at both bonuses. Brentford are not a high-scoring team in general and will be playing on the road Thursday.

I also like David de Gea ($11) for this price. Arsenal should be able to force him to make a few more saves than Lloris will make which boosts his floor. He's also the home keeper in this situation, and Manchester United is favored to win.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
