EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings (12/28/21) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 20

Brandon's DraftKings EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 12/28/21 (Matchweek 20). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off”! We will continue to entertain the haywire scheduling thanks to COVID-19. We will have a tiny three-game slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST with Crystal Palace -160. COVID-19 continues to haunt our beloved sports and it is making lineup construction hard with last-minute updates. Make sure to stay on top of it and also be in the chat up to kick-off!

With three games, softer pricing, and COVID-19,  making the winning lineup will be very difficult and it will take the best forms of creativity when making lineups. With that being said, do not be afraid to feel extremely uncomfortable when building lines.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected] or via Twitter @df_solutions or on “SLACK”.

The Kick-Off - EPL Matchweek 20

Vegas Odds for the Day

[H] Crystal Palace (-160) vs Norwich City [A] (+460):  Total: 2 1/2u

What do Crystal Palace and Norwich City have in common? They both lost their last match 3-0 to Tottenham. The only difference is the Eagles lost their key striker, Wilfried Zaha. This will make things much more interesting in terms of the host’s attack. This could easily be a goalless draw or the hosts could continue Norwich’s winless away streak.

Expected Outcome: Crystal Palace 1-0

CRY:

Cash/GPP:

D: Ward($3.9K)

M/F: Gallagher($9K), Ayew($7.9K), Mateta($4.5K)

GPP: Edouard($6.1K), Butland($5.6K)

NOR:

Cash/GPP:

D: Giannoulis($4.7K)

M/F: Gilmour($5.2K), Cantwell($3.7K)

GPP: Pukki($5.4K), Lees-Melou($3.3K)

[H] Southampton (+240) vs [A] Tottenham Hotspurs (+110):  Total: 2 1/2o

Southampton and Tottenham have both beat West Ham in their last few respective matches. This has helped Tottenham take over 5th place in the table by a point. In turn, this match will be pivotal for Tottenham to win away. Southampton has not been the greatest lately, but they have been looking more promising. This will prove tough for the Spurs, but they will look to prevail.

Expected Outcome: 2-1 Tottenham

SOU:

Cash/GPP:

M/F: Ward-Prowse($9.3K)

GPP: Broja($7K), Redmond($6.8K), Elyounoussi($5K), Walker-Peters($4.7K), Forster($4.3K)

TOT:

Cash/GPP:

G: Lloris($5.3K)

D: Reguilon($6.3K), Royal($5.8K)

M/F: Son($10.3K), Kane($8.3K)

GPP: Moura($8.2K)

[H] Watford (+250) vs [A] West Ham United (+105)  Total: 2 1/2o

The Hammers have fallen from grace and they now have a fight for fifth on their hands. West Ham is winless in their last five matches, but luckily for them, they have won the last three meetings between these two clubs with a combined score of 10-3. In each meeting, both teams have scored as well -- FanDuel currently has Both Teams To Score posted for (-158) --. Both clubs are itching to play again, especially the hosts and it may prove much harder for the Hammers.

Expected Outcome: 2-1 West Ham United

WAT:

Cash/GPP:

D: Rose($4.5K)

M/F: King($6.5K), Cleverley($5.6K)

GPP: Dennis($9.7K), Hernandez($8.1K), Bachmann($4.5K)

WHU:

Cash/GPP:

M/F: Bowen($9.1K), Antonio($7.4K), Lanzini($5.2K)

GPP: Fornals($6K), Fabianski($5.1K), Coufal($5K)

Expected Corner Takers:

Crystal Palace: Gallagher

Norwich City: Gilmour

Southampton: Ward-Prowse

Tottenham: Son

Watford: Cleverley/Hernandez

West Ham United: Bowen/Cresswell
