EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings (12/15/21) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 17

Brandon's DraftKings EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 12/15/21 (Matchweek 17). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off”! We are rolling along once again, however, accompanied by some very interesting pricing. We will have yet another mini 3-game slate starting at 2:30 P.M. EST with zero favorites. The closest favorite would be Burnley +105 followed by Arsenal +112. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has come back to haunt our beloved sports and it is making lineup construction hard with last-minute updates. Make sure to stay on top of it and also be in the chat up to kick-off!

With only three games, random pricing, and COVID-19,  making the winning lineup will be very difficult and it will take the best forms of creativity when making lineups. With that being said, do not be afraid to feel extremely uncomfortable when building lines.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected] or via Twitter @df_solutions or on “SLACK”.

The Kick-Off - EPL Matchweek 17

Vegas Odds for the Day

[H] Brighton & Hove Albion (+130) vs Wolverhampton [A] (+260):  Total: 2o

Both clubs have been drawing masters this season and they are also near the bottom of the table in terms of goals per game. This matchup is looking like the least likely to produce fireworks and it won’t help that the Wolves are traveling to the AMEX without Jimenez who received a red card at the weekend. With both clubs struggling to score, this is pointing more and more to a solid point for each.

Expected Outcome: 1-1

BHA:

Cash/GPP:

M/F: Gross($8.1K), Trossard($7.5K)

GPP: Maupay($7.7K), Sanchez($4.9K), Mwepu($4.1K)

WOL:

Cash/GPP:

D: Marcal($3.9K)

M/F: Moutinho($4.3K)

GPP: Traore($6.3K), Hee-Chan($4.1K), Sa($4.6K), Trincao($3.4K)

[H] Burnley (+105) vs [A] Watford (+260):  Total: 2 1/2u

The Clarets and the Hornets both have struggled for offense as of late and Watford themselves are on a 4-game losing streak. Burnley has been okay overall this season, but they continue to give up last minutes goals that turn what would be wins into draws. They have also surprisingly been average at best at Turf Moor this season. With Maxwel Cornet set to miss this meeting, the visitors have a chance to take all three points.

Expected Outcome: 1-0 Watford

BUR:

Cash/GPP:

M/F: McNeil($8.5K), Westwood($5.7K)

GPP: Gudmundsson($5.8K), Taylor($5.2K), Wood($5K)

WAT:

Cash/GPP:

M/F: Cleverley($5.6K)

GPP: Dennis($9.3K), King($6.6K), Bachmann($4.3K), Pedro($3.8K)

[H] Crystal Palace (+125) vs [A] Southampton (+245)  Total: 2 1/2u

Southampton will travel once more as they hope to end a three-game losing streak where they have been outscored 9-1 by the likes of Norwich, Liverpool and Arsenal. Meanwhile, Palace has just defeated Everton at the weekend 3-1 and they continue to show a much-improved squad under Viera. With the visitors missing both of their starting strikers and Palace finding form, it will be hard to deny the hosts all three points.

Expected Outcome: 2-0 Crystal Palace

CRY:

Cash/GPP:

G: Guaita($5.3K)

M/F: Gallagher($9.8K), Zaha($9.1K)

GPP: Benteke($8.3K), Ayew($7.6K), Schlupp($3.2K)

SOU:

Cash/GPP:

M/F: Ward-Prowse($7.8K)

GPP: Redmond($6.7K), Elyounoussi($4.6K), Livramento($4.5K), Walcott($3.7K)

[H] Arsenal (+112) vs [A] West Ham United (+227)  Total:2 1/2o

The hosts are in incredible form at home recently, winning the last five of their six matches, albeit against weak competition, Aston Villa, Leeds, Watford, Newcastle United and Southampton with a combined score of 11-1. The Hammers have not been as successful on the road, however, they proved tough to beat against Manchester City (2-1 loss) and they defeated Chelsea 3-2 in their last five matches. This will be the hardest fixture in some time for Arsenal and the Hammers might just have what it takes to beat them at the Emirates.

Expected Outcome: 2-1 West Ham

ARS:

Cash/GPP:

D: Tomiyasu($4.6K)

M/F: Odegaard($8K), Saka($8K)

GPP: Smith Rowe($8.6K), Lacazette($5.8K), Ramsdale($5.1K)

WHU:

Cash/GPP:

G: Fabianksi($4.4K)

M/F: Bowen($9.6K)

GPP: Antonio($8.1K), Fornals($6.9K), Vlasic($5.7K), Soucek($3.9K)

Expected Corner Takers:

Brighton & Hove Albion: Gross

Wolverhampton: Moutinho

Burnley: McNeil/Westwood

Watford: Cleverley/Hernandez

Crystal Palace: Gallagher

Southampton: Ward-Prowse

Arsenal: Odegaard/Saka

West Ham United: Bowen/Cresswell
