ANALYSIS: For anyone who needs a boost in three-pointers going forward, look no further than Miami Heat guard/forward Duncan Robinson. Leading up to this past Wednesday, Robinson was trending in a promising direction, hitting exactly three three-pointers in three straight games. Then, on Wednesday, he absolutely went off for a whopping nine three-pointers and 29 points.
So yeah, if you need help in threes, Robinson is your guy.
He might not help much in any other category. He's a fantastic free throw shooter and has hit all six of his attempts this year, but averaging about one free throw attempt per week isn't going to move the needle much. He's been regularly playing over 25 minutes per game lately, including 34 minutes in his 29-point explosion. There doesn't seem to be much of a playing time concern going forward as long as he continues hitting his shots. He's shooting an astounding 44% from beyond the arc so far this year.
