DraftKings DFS – NBA Fantasy Basketball Advice & Value Picks (5/14/15)

Alright, I know it is a little late in the day but the 7 PM CST start gives us enough time to talk amongst the regulars and create the perfect DraftKings DFS lineup.

Every game during this NBA playoffs has been a battle every minute, regardless of the score. Every player that is on the court is giving it their all, and could be worthy of a spot in your DFS lineup. But I will pick two players from every team that will be a must start and a value play.

My analysis of each player will be short and to the point. I think the importance of this article lies in the DFS chat room so that we can allow everyone to give their perspective instead of just one. These are my recommended DraftKings picks and the best of luck to everyone.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls

LeBron James - CLE, F - $11,400

LeBron James is doing exactly what everyone expects of him and more. He should be consistent through the playoffs because of injuries to the rest of the Cavaliers team. He is a little pricey but his ceiling seems to be getting higher and higher every game.

Iman Shumpert - CLE, G - $4,800

His cheap price and ability to stuff any stat category makes him a must play. He is not entirely cheap but if he can continue to roll off of his last performance then he should exceed his value.

Derrick Rose - CHI, G - $8,700

Injuries to the rest of the Bulls roster puts the offensive capabilities in the hands of their very talented guards. He is playing at home has playing some fantastic basketball lately. Tonight should be a continuance of his great play and should be one of the top scorers in game six.

Nikola Mirotic - CHI, F - $4,000

He has managed to produce in the minutes he has given which makes him a valuable asset to any team. He is also fairly cheap and can get on a roll at anytime, especially at home in a big game six.

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Clippers

Dwight Howard - HOU, C - $8,500

After a quick performance in game four, he exploded in game five and proved that he is the top option at center tonight. He should look to increase his offensive production and have another spectacular outing although the Clippers should close it out at home.

Pablo Prigioni - HOU, G - $2,900

After two poor outings in game four and game five, Pablo Prigioni should look to rebound in game six. He can get the shots, he just needs to make them. If he can produce in the 20 minutes he should be a great value play.

Blake Griffin - LAC, F - $10,300

Blake Griffin has been one some next level stuff lately and it should not stop as long as the Clippers can continue their playoff run. Inconsistency has hurt the Clippers as different players have been performing on different nights it is hard to track who will show up on any given night. Blake on the other hand has been able to show up each and every night...this should continue as the Clippers look to close out the Rockets at home,

Spencer Hawes - LAC, C - $2,600

I have been waiting for the time where I can advise to pick Spencer Hawes and tonight is the night. The Clippers have been more or less unstoppable at home which should give Hawes plenty of time to create a wave in the league. He has the ability to knockdown three's and his price is low for someone who can produce well above his projected value. This is a really risky play but you need risk if you want to stack your lineup with superstars.
