DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/7/18): NBA DFS Lineups

We have a seven game NBA slate to get us through this hump day and there are some interesting options across the board. Not a ton of injuries as of right now, so lineup construction should be pretty straight forward, which could make it difficult to get some of the bigger name players into the same lineup.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/7/18.

These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. Feel free to stop by the Hoops Chat Room or on Twitter @DFS_Tom, let's get rolling.

DraftKings DFS Guards

George Hill - PG, CLE @ DEN (DK - $4,700)

Hill and the Cavaliers are up against the Nuggets in a game which has an over-under set at a massive 230 points. You will certainly want some exposure to this game, and Hill is a great, and cheaper option to do so. Hill only has a 14% usage rate, along with averaging 0.79 fantasy points per minute, but with this matchup set to be high scoring, he should see a nice boost. More of a GPP option compared to cash, and with his price being a bit lower, he should fit nicely into most lineups. He has 28 or more DraftKings points in two of his last four games, with one of them up at 44 points. This shows he has the upside, which is always great in tournaments.

Jrue Holiday - SG, NO @ SAC (DK - $8,100)

Holiday has been one of the better options in recent weeks, and doesn't get a ton of love in DFS. He has scored 36 DraftKings points or more in nine of his last 10 games, and is playing in a game which has an over-under set at 224 points. Holiday has a usage rate sitting at 29%, along with averaging 1.25 fantasy points per minute, both of which are second highest on the team. He has seen a usage increase of 5% since DeMarcus Cousins went out with a season ending injury. This will be a faster paced, high scoring game, and with his double-double upside, he is in a good spot.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Aaron Gordon - PF, ORL @ LAL (DK - $7,600)

Gordon is in a pace up spot against the Lakers, in a game which has an over-under set at 226 points, which is second highest on the slate. Gordon is coming off a rough game with only 22 points, but that was in a pace down spot against the Jazz. Looking for him to bounce back against the Lakers, who are giving up 48 DraftKings points per game to power forwards. Prior to that game against the Jazz, he had scored 33 or more DK points in five straight, so we should see him return to his average. Gordon has double-double upside, making him a great option for GPPs, and could be a nice addition to a game stack.

Bogdan Bogdanovic - SF, SAC vs NO (DK - $6,400)

Really like the game Bogdanovice has as a rookie, and with his three point ability, very nice upside with this favorable matchup. He is up against the Pelicans, who are giving up 42 DraftKings points per game to small forwards, which is seventh worst in the league. As I mentioned with Holiday, this game has an over-under set at 224 points, so getting some exposure to it, looks to be the right call. He has a usage rate sitting at 21%, and is taking about five three point attempts per game, over his last 10. Playing up in pace, against a weak defensive team, combined with his three point potential, truly makes him a tournament play tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Andre Drummond - C, DET vs TOR (DK - $9,500)

Drummond and the Pistons have lost three straight and eight of their last 10 games, so they will need their star player to step up and keep them in this playoff race. Drummond has played the Raptors two times this season, in those games, he has averaged 36 minutes per game and put up 57 DraftKings points. That is unbelievable production per minute, and exactly the type of player you want in any format. He is a double-double machine, and has nine of such in his last 10 games. He has a 21% usage rate, along with averaging 1.34 fantasy points per minute this season.
