DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/17/18): NBA DFS Lineups

We have a 10 game slate and there are some interesting options across the board. Not a ton of injuries as of right now, so lineup construction should be pretty straight forward, which could make it difficult to get some of the bigger name players into the same lineup.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/17/18.

These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. Feel free to stop by the Hoops Chat Room or on Twitter @DFS_Tom, let's get rolling.

DraftKings DFS Guards

James Harden - SG, HOU @ NO (DK - $11,200)

Harden is the third most expensive player on the slate, so you will have to find some value elsewhere on the slate to get up to his price. He has taken 16 or more field goal attempts in each of his last four games, and is truly showing that he the center of their offense. He has a usage rate sitting at 38%, along with averaging 1.56 fantasy points per minute, and truly one of the few players who is a triple-double threat any night. Harden and the Rockets are up against the Pelicans in a game which has an over-under set at 227 points, so plenty of offense to go around, and a game stack isn't a bad idea.

Dennis Smith Jr. PG, DAL @ BKN (DK - $6,700)

DSJ is up against the Nets, who are giving up 48 DraftKings points per game to points guards, putting him in a good spot. He has scored 30 DraftKings points or more in five of his last six games, and is averaging 0.98 fantasy points per minute. A bit of a pace up spot for the Mavericks, and with this game having an over-under set at 213 points, plenty of time for DSJ to reach value. He has a usage rate sitting at 29%, and has shown a bit of double-double upside, making him a nice tournament play.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Joe Ingles - SF, UTA vs SAC (DK - $6,300)

Ingles has scored 29 DraftKings points or more in six straight games, and is really playing well this recent stretch. Playing in an up pace spot against the Suns, who are giving up 41 DraftKings points per game to small forwards. He has added seven or more rebounds and assists, seven times in his last 10 games, so really filling up the stat sheet, which is great for fantasy value. He is more of a cash game play, since he doesn't have the pure scoring upside you would want for GPPs.

Jeff Green - PF, CLE @ CHI (DK - $4,600)

Green is in a spot to see plenty of playing time since the Cavaliers are dealing with a number of injuries. Green has played 27 minutes or more in each of his last two games, and put up 28 points or more in those games. For his price, he is one of the more productive players on the slate. Not sure if he will be getting the start lineup, but even off the bench he offers plenty of value. He has taken 12 field goal attempts in three of his last four games, so plenty of scoring upside for him.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Dwight Howard - C, CHA @ NY (DK - $9,000)

Howard and the Hornets are up against the Knicks, who are giving up 51 DraftKings points per game to centers. Howard is a double-double machine, and has one in three straight games. He has played the Knicks two times this season, averaging 29 minutes per game, and averaged 31 points per game. Great production out of him, and with his potential to reach 20 plus rebounds, he has big tournament upside.
