DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (2/28/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on February 28, 2018. Tom Vecchio's NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a nine game NBA slate to get us through this hump day and there are some interesting options across the board. Not a ton of injuries as of right now, so lineup construction should be pretty straight forward, which could make it difficult to get some of the bigger name players into the same lineup.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/28/18.

These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. Feel free to stop by the Hoops Chat Room or on Twitter @DFS_Tom, let's get rolling.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Chris Paul - PG, HOU @ LAC (DK - $8.300)

Paul will be up against his former team tonight the Clippers, so if you like a good revenge narrative, this is the spot for you. In the one game he has played them this season, Paul played 34 minutes and put up 40 DraftKings points. That production falls right inline with his 1.35 fantasy points per minute this season, and has plenty of double-double upside in what should be a high scoring game. Paul has a usage rate sitting at 25%, and has scored 37 or more DraftKings points in nine of his last 10 games. This is also the cheapest his price has been over his last 10 games, so a nice time to buy in while his price is a bit lower.

Dillon Brooks - SG, MEM vs PHO (DK - $4,500)

Brooks is set to be in a good spot tonight for a number of reasons, so let's dive in. We know that Tyreke Evans has already been ruled out for the Grizzles, so Brooks will see a 3% increase in his usage rate. He is averaging 0.62 fantasy points per minute, which may not seem like a lot, but at only $4.5K, he doesn't need to do a whole lot to pay off value. He has put up 18 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, and we should be seeing him exceed that level tonight, as he his up against the Suns who are giving up 46 DK points per game to shooting guards which is dead last in the league.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Bojan Bogdanovic - SF, IND @ ATL (DK - $5,400)

Bogdanovice has scored 25 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, and is in a great spot tonight. He is up against the Hawks, who are giving up 44 DraftKings points per game to small forwards, which is the worst in the league. He has plenty of upside for tournaments, as he is able to knock down the thee ball in most games. He is a bit scoring dependent in order to reach value, as he doesn't chip in a whole lot with other stats. This makes him more of a GPP play because of this, and isn't too expensive on this good size slate.

LaMarcus Aldridge - PF, SA vs NO (DK - $8,100)

Aldridge has scored 40 or more DraftKings points in four of his last five games, and is in a great spot tonight against the Pelicans. This game has an over-under set at 220 points, so there will be plenty of offense to go around, along with the Spurs playing up in pace. Aldridge has a usage rate sitting at 31%, along with averaging 1.17 fantasy points per minute this season. He is simply too cheap for the role he plays in the Spurs offense, and is looking to be one of the betters options at power forward tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Andre Drummond - C, DET vs MIL (DK - $9,600)

Drummond is one of the most consistent players in DFS, and is a double-double machine. Tonight he is in what some call a "smash spot", and should be the cornerstone of many of your lineups. He is up against the Bucks, who are giving up 54 DraftKings points per game to centers, which is second worst in the league. In the three games Drummond has played the Bucks this season, he has averaged 30 minutes, and 50 DraftKings points. Massive numbers from him, and will look to continue his double-double streak, as he has one in 10 straight games.

Also Consider: Myles Turner - C, IND @ ATL (DK - $7,300)
